Thanks to everyone for all your participation! The community’s hard work and the core team’s dedication created a strong redevelopment plan. Now the city has a clear path marked for the steps it should take to enhance Old Town’s already charming character and increase its economic viability. turn it into the thriving, charming downtown that the community wants to see.
The city has already begun implementing the redevelopment plan, beginning with the new connection and roundabout at Snelling and Lights Ferry.
Other exciting things are happening too–the farmer’s market will be opening up in Old Town in March in one of the city’s buildings, and a craft beer store, Growlers on Main, is coming to Main Street on February 1!
We are all excited to see great things happen in Old Town!
